JNU 2017 Application Form – Released

 JNU 2017 Application Form has been released through online mode. Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi manages a university level examination called as Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Exam (JNUEE). This exam is organized to get admission into undergraduate, postgraduate & Ph.D programmes. Here, we are providing detailed information related to the JNU Application Form 2017.

Candidates can fill & submit the application form through online mode. The application form has been released from 21st March 2017. JNU Application Form 2017 will be issued till 5th April 2017. Candidates are advised to fill the application as per the instruction given in the bulletin.
Application Fee:
Candidates can make payment through Credit Card/Debit Card and Net Banking. The Fee is non-refundable. The JNU 2017 Entrance Exam fee structure is given here:

Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria are mentioned here:
  • For 1st year BA (Hons.) course, candidates have to pass 10+2 or equivalent examination & obtain at least 45% marks.
  • For 2nd year BA (Hons.), candidates have to qualify first year of bachelor’s degree or equivalent under 10+2+3 pattern with minimum 50% marks.
  • For M.Phill/Ph.D programme, candidates have to complete master’s degree & secure minimum 50% marks.

  • Application Form Availability Date: 21st March 2017
  • Online Registration Last Date: 5th April 2017

How to Apply
Candidates can apply for JNU Entrance Exam through online or offline process. Candidates can follow these steps to apply:
Online Mode:
  • Go to the official site. 
  • Click on the “Apply Online” link.
  • Fill your Basic details for registration.
  • Login again & fill the application form.
  • Upload the scanned documents.
  • Now, candidates have to pay the application fee.
  • Keep the printout of the JNU Online Application Form 2017 for further reference.
How to fill JNU 2017 Application Form
Before filling the form, candidates are ready with the given documents/details.
Documents/Details Required:
  • Scanned Images of Photograph (width 150 px and height 200 px) & Signature (width 60 px and height 140 px) in JPG format. The size of scanned images is maximum 20-50 KB.
  • Image should be taken on or after 1st Jan 2017.
  • Valid e-mail id and mobile number.
  • Debit/Credit Card Details.
  • Qualification Details.
Candidates have to follow the given steps to fill the JNU Online Application Form 2017:
Step-1 Registration:
Candidates have to visit to the official portal. Click on the link “Apply Online”. Click on the link “I Accept Apply Online”. Candidates have to fill their basic details for registration. Check your email id & mobile, you will get the Login ID and Password. Save the Login id & password for future use.
Step-2: Fill the Application Form:
Now, candidates have to login again & fill the JNU online application. Candidates have to fill their Personal details, academic details, select choice of field of study, select examination city, etc. Click on “Submit” button.
Step-3 Upload Photograph & Signature:
After filling all the details, candidates have to upload their scanned photograph & signature. Click on “Submit” button to proceed further.
Step-4 Fee Payment:
Candidates have to submit the fee online through Debit/Credit Card or Net Banking. After fee submission, candidates will receive a confirmation message of form submission. Candidates can check the filled details properly before final submission.
Step-5 Take the Confirmation Page:
After the submission of the JNU 2017 Application Form, candidates take the print of the confirmation page for future use. Candidates have to note down the application number.
